Won Kow, A former Chinatown icon and tiki bar favorite with a rich history, was the oldest restaurant in Chinatown before its closing. Everything from the fu dogs on the building's facade, the climb up the stairs, to the Lazy Susan inside made Won Kow's dependably good, Cantonese food even better. Started in 1927, Won Kow represented the growing popularity of Chinese-American food and became the center of Chicago's Chinese community. We remember Won Kow as the anchor of Chicago's South Side Chinatown with this tee.
