We love old pictures of “Able Cable” and “Twinkle Tow” carrying beachgoers to and from Atwater Beach. They operated 1967 to 1977 and made a lasting impression on kids and parents alike. The ride was a highlight of beach time, and this vintage t-shirt shows they remain icons of Shorewood from the 1970s.
