Built in 1888, Century Hall had a revival in the 1970s and became one of the best rock and roll clubs in Milwaukee.
It was the place to see local and national bands that resonated with the counterculture.

A spectacular explosion ended Century Hall in 1988 where incredibly nobody was killed.
