Built in 1888, Century Hall had a revival in the 1970s and became one of the best rock and roll clubs in Milwaukee. It was the place to see local and national bands that resonated with the counterculture. This vintage long-sleeve t-shirt recalls performances that were memorable and sometimes legendary. Also, anyone looking for frugal entertainment could count on “never a cover at the front bar” promoted on concert fliers. A spectacular explosion ended Century Hall in 1988.
